Lifts & Elevators

Stay on every floor of your home.

Stair lifts, porch lifts, and true residential elevators from AmeriGlide, Serenity, and RAM — measured, installed, and serviced by our own Alberta technicians. Every project starts with a free in-home assessment.

Stair Lifts

Ride the stairs you already have. Straight rails install in a day; curved rails are measured and manufactured to your exact staircase.

The AmeriGlide Rave 2 straight stair lift, seat and footrest deployed

AmeriGlide

Rave 2 Straight Stair Lift

The most compact straight stairlift on the market — folds to just 11 inches.

The Rave 2 is the workhorse of straight staircases. Folded, the whole unit occupies a little over 11 inches, so the staircase stays genuinely usable for everyone else in the house. Batteries carry up to 60 cycles during a power outage — which is exactly when getting downstairs matters most — and the seat swivels 90 degrees at the top of the rail so you step off onto the landing rather than the stairs. A folding rail option clears doorways or obstructions at the bottom of the run.

  • Folds to just over 11 inches — the most compact on the market
  • Up to 60 cycles of travel during a power outage
  • 90° seat swivel at the top for a safe exit onto the landing
  • Integrated centrifugal overspeed brake and swivel interlock
  • Chassis and footrest obstruction sensors
  • Two call/send remotes, right- or left-hand controls
  • Optional folding rail clears doorways at the bottom of the stairs
  • Optional key-lock prevents unauthorized use

The Atlas 860 curved stair lift parked at the foot of a staircase in a home hallway

AmeriGlide / Atlas

Infinity Curved Stair Lift (Atlas 860)

A made-to-measure rail for staircases with landings, turns, or a spiral.

A curved staircase needs a rail built for that one house. We measure your staircase, the powder-coated rail is manufactured to those measurements, and the carriage follows every turn and landing on one continuous run — no transferring between two lifts halfway up. It is one of the slimmest curved rails available, and the chair folds away flat when parked. Power swivel, soft start and stop, and removable seat covers come as standard, in five vinyl colours.

  • One continuous ride across landings, turns, and spirals
  • Rail measured and built for your staircase, not adapted to it
  • One of the slimmest curved rails available
  • Power swivel and soft start / stop as standard
  • Retractable seatbelt, two remotes, and two locking keys
  • Obstruction safety sensors throughout
  • Fold-away design and removable seat covers for easy cleaning
  • Five vinyl seat colours to match the home

Platform & Porch Lifts

Vertical platform lifts carry a wheelchair and its user between levels — front steps, decks, split-level entries, and garages.

AmeriGlide

Vertical Platform Lift

A porch lift for front steps and decks, rated for outdoor Alberta winters.

Where a ramp would need thirty feet of run to clear a four-foot porch, a vertical platform lift does it in a footprint about the size of the platform itself. The user rolls on, presses and holds a button, and rides up. Weather-rated models are built for outdoor installation, which in Alberta means sealed controls, drainage, and finishes that survive freeze-thaw cycles.

  • Fits where a code-compliant ramp will not
  • Weather-rated options for outdoor entries
  • Commonly funded through RAMP and Veterans Affairs
  • Free site assessment before any quote

Serenity

Serenity Vertical Platform Lift — Standard

750 lb, made in Canada, and configured for anything from a two-step porch to a full storey.

Serenity builds vertical platform lifts in Toronto for Canadian winters, which is the whole argument for specifying them here. The Standard model covers lifting heights from 28 inches to 105 inches, so one product line handles a two-step front porch and a full-storey rise to a raised deck. An Acme screw drive gives steady, predictable travel, and the battery-powered configuration keeps the lift running through a power outage — which in Alberta is exactly when you need it. Aluminum platform, stainless steel hardware, and weather-rated panels; the tower can be set left- or right-hand on site.

  • One model covers a two-step porch through a full-storey rise
  • Battery configuration keeps working through a power outage
  • Built in Canada for Canadian winters
  • Tower handed left or right on site to suit the entry
  • Commonly funded through RAMP, AADL, and Veterans Affairs

Serenity

Serenity Vertical Platform Lift — Premium

The full 105 inches of travel in a slimmer, better-finished tower.

The Premium is the Serenity to specify when the lift is going somewhere people look at every day — a front entry, a covered porch, a garage a house is entered through. It reaches the full 105 inches of lifting height on DC battery power, with a cleaner tower profile and finishes meant to sit against a house rather than beside it. Mechanically it is the same 750 lb Acme screw platform as the Standard, with the same dual AC and DC power options.

  • Maximum lifting height in the Serenity range
  • Slimmer, finished tower for a visible front entry
  • Battery power for outages and unserviced locations
  • Same 750 lb capacity and drive as the Standard model

The RAM Trus-T-Lift residential platform lift with handrails and access ramp

RAM (TrustRam)

Trus-T-Lift Residential Platform Lift

750 lb capacity, up to 14 ft of travel, and a counterweight drive built for quiet operation.

RAM's Trus-T-Lift is the platform lift we specify when the job needs capacity and height — 750 pounds and up to fourteen feet, which covers most split-level entries and raised decks. The counterweight drive design is quieter and more efficient than a conventional screw drive, and two tiers of emergency power (a manual crank and a battery backup) mean the platform can always be brought back to a landing.

  • Highest capacity platform lift we install
  • Two independent emergency lowering methods
  • Certified to Canadian CSA B355 and B613
  • Indoor or outdoor installation

Home Elevators

A true residential elevator when a lift is not enough: multiple floors, a fully enclosed cab, and finishes chosen to match the house.

The RAM Crystal residential elevator with a glass hoistway in a home hallway

RAM (TrustRam)

Crystal Residential Elevator

A machine-room-less home elevator: 1,400 lb, up to four stops, fully customizable cab.

The Crystal is a genuine residential elevator rather than a lift — an enclosed cab serving two to four floors, basement to attic, with the cab size, doors, finishes, and lighting specified to suit the house. Because it is machine-room-less, there is no separate equipment room to give up. The counterbalanced traction drive uses substantially less energy than comparable hydraulic systems and gives a soft start and stop at every landing.

  • No separate machine room required
  • Soft start and stop at every landing
  • Cab size, doors, finishes, and lighting all specified to the home
  • Roughly half the energy of comparable systems
